How we review

Three steps, the same for every clinic. Read our editorial policy

  1. Read what the company publishes

Pricing, terms, refund policy, pharmacy and compounding disclosures, state lists and FAQs, with the date we read each page.

  2. Check the public record

BBB and Trustpilot profiles, FDA and state-board actions, and the company's own press releases. Conflicts get printed, not smoothed over.

  3. Check six fixed criteria

The same criteria for every clinic, a one-line finding for each, and a list of what the company does not publish.

What we do, and what we never do

Upkeepwell is funded by affiliate commissions. These rules set out what that money does not buy.

We do

  • Read every page a company publishes about price, terms, refunds and pharmacies
  • List the source and read date behind every fact
  • Check every clinic against the same six criteria and list what it does not publish
  • Correct errors when a reader sends us a source

We don’t

  • Accept payment for a review, a rating or a place on a page
  • Order, use or test any treatment or service
  • Give medical advice or dosing instructions
  • Invent reviewers, doctors, testimonials or quotes
