How we are paid
Upkeepwell participates in affiliate programs. Some links on this site, marked with a note such as “We may earn a commission” and tagged so that search engines treat them as sponsored, lead to a company’s website through a tracking link. If you sign up or purchase after clicking, the company or its affiliate network may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra.
What commissions do and do not buy
- Which companies we cover. We cover companies readers are shopping in each category. Most of them run affiliate programs we take part in, and we say so here rather than implying otherwise.
- No paid reviews or placements. No company pays us to be written about, to receive a particular rating, or to appear higher on a page, and no company sees or approves a page before it is published.
- The same six criteria. Every program is checked against the criteria on How we review, and the order on our category pages is our own editorial judgment, never bought.
- The facts stay in. We lead with what a program does well, and we still publish its prices, billing terms, refund rules, what it does not publish and its public record, whether or not that helps a sale.
What we do not do
We do not accept payment for reviews or placement, free or discounted products or services, or any compensation tied to what a page says. We do not run display advertising, and we do not publish sponsored posts.
Where the disclosure appears
Every review page carries a disclosure line near the top, before any affiliate link, and a note beside each outbound button. This page is linked from the site footer and from our privacy policy.
