Online GLP-1 Clinics Compared: Prices, Pharmacies and Refund Terms (2026)

Figures come from each company’s own pages, read on September 16, 2026, and will change. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved: the FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. Brand-name prices are not directly comparable with compounded ones.

Read the entry prices with care. Wellmedr’s and Embody’s lowest figures are sale prices (Embody lists a “Regular price” of $299 beside its $79 sale price), Trim Rx’s figures differ from page to page, and Embody’s terms describe programs that never mention $79 or $129. These totals are our calculations from published prices, assuming each price applies all year. Taxes and unpublished fees are excluded.

• Hims: brand-name starting prices; its Wegovy pen page says “Pricing may vary by dosage.” A $5 standard shipping fee listed in its help center is not included.
• Pallas Health: the length of the first month is not stated, so we assumed four weeks plus four 12-week renewals. The annual plan’s total is not published.
• Trim Rx: assumes monthly follow-ups. At the homepage’s $179, semaglutide would cost $2,148 (12 × $179).
• Wellmedr: the ongoing price is not published. The policy allows “up to 18 charges” in the first 365 days, and the per-cycle prices come from a third-party review, unconfirmed.

The lowest totals in the table, Embody’s 12-month bundles, are paid up front, as are Trimi’s annual plans. Embody’s multi-month plans are non-refundable “IN WHOLE AND IN PART,” and Trimi says “We don’t pro-rate.”

A named prescriber and pharmacy let you check licenses yourself. Here is what each company names.

Under FDA rules, 503A pharmacies compound against “valid patient-specific prescriptions,” while 503B outsourcing facilities must meet CGMP manufacturing requirements and are inspected by the FDA on a risk-based schedule. All six sites show a LegitScript seal or claim certification; we have not independently confirmed any of them. Apart from the Hims letter, we found no FDA warning letter naming these companies.

The first table covers what happens if you are declined. This one covers what happens after a prescription and how you leave.

When your card is charged. Pallas Health says “Nothing charged at checkout — billed only once a clinician prescribes.” Wellmedr and Trimi charge at checkout, before clinical review, and Embody takes the first month before the medical intake. Hims charges the $39 membership at checkout. Trim Rx does not say; a BBB alert says consumers allege it “fails to wait for medical approval prior to charging and shipping medications.”

Some fine print conflicts. Wellmedr’s terms say “Consultation fees are non-refundable once your intake is submitted,” a rule its refund policy does not include, and a March 2026 Trim Rx press release is stricter than its current terms. Ask which document applies.

At the five clinics with reviews, complaints return to the same themes: billing and cancellation, refunds, delivery and hard-to-reach support. The FTC’s case against Hims concerns subscription billing and health-data sharing, and the FTC notes that “The case will be decided by the court.” Read recent one-star reviews for the clinic you are considering.

Match your priority to what each company publishes:

• Pay nothing until a clinician prescribes: Pallas Health is the only one of the six that says nothing is charged at checkout.
• A full refund if you are declined: Wellmedr refunds automatically within seven business days, Trimi promises an automatic 100% refund, and Trim Rx’s terms promise a full refund.
• Every price and interval up front: Trimi’s treatment pages show every plan’s price, billed amount and interval, and its homepage repeats the annual and monthly prices. Pallas Health repeats one price table across its site but does not explain annual billing.
• The lowest 12-month total published in full: Embody’s 12-month semaglutide bundle, $828 up front, under a policy that makes payments final except after a provider disqualification.
• A brand-name drug, including a pill: Hims lists Wegovy, Ozempic and Foundayo pills and requires a paid membership. Pallas Health sells four brand-name drugs with no membership fee.
• Something other than an injection: Wellmedr is the only one listing compounded tablets, and Embody sells a compounded semaglutide gum. Neither is FDA-approved.
• Knowing exactly which pharmacy fills your order: Wellmedr’s product pages name one pharmacy for all prescriptions, Mycelium.
• Louisiana or Washington, D.C.: Trimi and Pallas Health list all 50 states and DC.
• Help any day of the week: Trimi’s homepage and Embody’s contact page say their care teams are available 24/7, Hims lists “24/7 messaging with licensed providers,” Wellmedr says its care team is available 7 days a week, and Trim Rx lists phone support seven days a week. Trimi’s phone line is open on weekdays only, and Wellmedr’s Monday to Saturday.
• A long operating record: the BBB lists a 2013 start date for Hims; every other start date we found is 2024 or later.
• No arbitration clause: we found none at Pallas Health, Trim Rx or Wellmedr.

• A clinic-specific BMI threshold. Trimi says “BMI alone does not determine eligibility.”
• When lab work is required, and what it costs. A Trim Rx blog post says labs are typically not required; Trimi says a provider may request them.
• A clinical check-in schedule. Embody describes a dose review when you run low on medication; the other five give no schedule.

Other gaps are specific to some clinics: Wellmedr’s ongoing price, Pallas Health’s annual-plan billing, a state list at Trim Rx, Wellmedr and Hims, Trim Rx’s pharmacy name, each pharmacy’s 503A or 503B status at Pallas Health and Hims, and a refund rule for declined applicants at Hims. If an answer matters to you, ask in writing before you pay and keep the reply.

1. Choose compounded or brand-name. They are different products at very different prices.
2. Check your state before you enter health information.
3. Compare 12-month totals, not headline prices, adding any membership or shipping fee.
4. Decide how much to prepay. The lowest totals come from plans paid up front and hard to refund in part.
5. Read the refund rule for declined applicants and the cancellation deadline.
6. Look up the pharmacy’s license once you have its name and state.
7. Save records: a screenshot of the checkout screen showing the recurring amount and interval, and the refund policy on the day you pay.
