Online GLP-1 Clinics Compared: Prices, Pharmacies and Refund Terms (2026)
Six online GLP-1 clinics, six ways of quoting a price. This page lines up what Embody, Hims, Pallas Health, Trim Rx, Trimi and Wellmedr publish about prices, pharmacies, refunds and complaints, read on September 16, 2026. Clinics are listed alphabetically, not in order of preference.

Key takeaways
- “Per month” can mean a calendar month, a 21-day cycle, a 12-week cycle or a prepaid plan divided by 12, and Hims adds a $149 monthly membership.
- Five of the six name at least one pharmacy; Trim Rx does not. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed.
- Only Pallas Health says it charges nothing until a clinician prescribes. Embody refunds declined applicants only in part, and Hims publishes no rule for them.
- Embody and Trim Rx have BBB F ratings, Trustpilot has withheld Trimi’s rating, Pallas Health has no reviews yet, and Hims faces a pending FTC lawsuit.

Side by side: what each clinic publishes
Figures come from each company’s own pages, read on September 16, 2026, and will change. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved: the FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. Brand-name prices are not directly comparable with compounded ones.
| Clinic | Compounded options | Brand-name options | Entry price and billing interval | Pharmacy named? | Availability | Refund if declined |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Embody | Semaglutide and tirzepatide injections; semaglutide gum | None | Regular $299 (semaglutide) or $349 (tirzepatide) for one month, on sale for $79 or $129, paid at checkout; 3-, 6- and 12-month bundles paid up front | Yes, four 503A pharmacies | All states except Louisiana | Partial: the “unused portion” of the term |
| Hims | None listed on its weight-loss pages | Wegovy, Ozempic and Foundayo pills; Wegovy pen, Ozempic, Zepbound, Mounjaro | Membership $39 for the first month, then $149 a month, plus medication from $149 a month | Six in the terms, but not which fills weight-loss orders | “Not available in all 50 states”; no list | No rule found; the first-month fee is non-refundable |
| Pallas Health | Semaglutide and tirzepatide | Wegovy pen, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro ($1,069–$1,349 a month) | $139 or $179 for the first month, then $597 or $897 every 12 weeks, charged only after a prescription | Yes, six; the 503A or 503B status of each is not given | All 50 states and DC | Nothing charged before a prescription; “Refunded in full” if declined |
| Trim Rx | Semaglutide and tirzepatide injections | Ozempic and Zepbound in the terms, but the footer says it sells no branded drugs | Homepage: “Starting at $179” or “Starting at $259.” Terms: $199 then $299, or $349 then $399. Ships monthly | No | “only within the 50 states”; no list | Yes, in full (terms) |
| Trimi | Semaglutide and tirzepatide injections | None | $175 or $235 billed monthly; $99 or $125 a month on the annual plan, billed up front ($1,188 or $1,500) | Yes, BelieveRx and GreenwichRx (503A) | All 50 states and DC | Yes, 100% and automatic |
| Wellmedr | Semaglutide and tirzepatide injections and tablets; a blend with NAD+ and B12 | Ozempic (from $1,399), Zepbound (from $1,599) | “Starting At $49 a month” or $89 with a sale discount; renews every 21 days at the checkout price | Yes, Mycelium Pharmacy (503A) | No state list | Yes, in full, automatically |
Read the entry prices with care. Wellmedr’s and Embody’s lowest figures are sale prices (Embody lists a “Regular price” of $299 beside its $79 sale price), Trim Rx’s figures differ from page to page, and Embody’s terms describe programs that never mention $79 or $129. Our guide to online GLP-1 pricing explains these patterns.
What 12 months could cost
These totals are our calculations from published prices, assuming each price applies all year. Taxes and unpublished fees are excluded.
| Clinic | Route | Our calculation | 12-month total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Embody | Semaglutide: 12-month bundle; one-month supply bought 12 times at the regular price, or at the sale price if it held all year | One payment; 12 × $299; 12 × $79 | $828; $3,588; $948 |
| Embody | Tirzepatide: the same three routes | One payment; 12 × $349; 12 × $129 | $1,428; $4,188; $1,548 |
| Hims | Membership plus a pill from $149 | ($39 + 11 × $149) + 12 × $149 | $3,466 |
| Hims | Membership plus Zepbound from $299 | ($39 + 11 × $149) + 12 × $299 | $5,266 |
| Pallas Health | Semaglutide; tirzepatide (first 52 weeks) | $139 + 4 × $597; $179 + 4 × $897 | $2,527; $3,767 |
| Trim Rx | Semaglutide; tirzepatide (terms’ prices) | $199 + 11 × $299; $349 + 11 × $399 | $3,488; $4,738 |
| Trimi | Semaglutide: annual plan; monthly | One payment; 12 × $175 | $1,188; $2,100 |
| Trimi | Tirzepatide: annual plan; monthly | One payment; 12 × $235 | $1,500; $2,820 |
| Wellmedr | Semaglutide; tirzepatide (21-day plan, third-party prices) | $59 + 17 × $99; $99 + 17 × $129 | Up to $1,742; up to $2,292 |
- Hims: brand-name starting prices; its Wegovy pen page says “Pricing may vary by dosage.” A $5 standard shipping fee listed in its help center is not included.
- Pallas Health: the length of the first month is not stated, so we assumed four weeks plus four 12-week renewals. The annual plan’s total is not published.
- Trim Rx: assumes monthly follow-ups. At the homepage’s $179, semaglutide would cost $2,148 (12 × $179).
- Wellmedr: the ongoing price is not published. The policy allows “up to 18 charges” in the first 365 days, and the per-cycle prices come from a third-party review, unconfirmed.
The lowest totals in the table, Embody’s 12-month bundles, are paid up front, as are Trimi’s annual plans. Embody’s multi-month plans are non-refundable “IN WHOLE AND IN PART,” and Trimi says “We don’t pro-rate.”
Pharmacies and compounding disclosures
A named prescriber and pharmacy let you check licenses yourself. Here is what each company names.
| Clinic | Prescribers | Pharmacy | 503A or 503B? | What to note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Embody | OpenLoop Health | Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Medicine, Triad Rx | 503A | Which one fills your order is not stated |
| Hims | State-licensed providers, not named | Six in the terms, including Apostrophe Pharmacy and Curexa; a press release says Zepbound and Foundayo prescriptions can go to LillyDirect | Not stated | FDA warning letter (September 9, 2025) over claims about compounded semaglutide |
| Pallas Health | Lion MD; two named physicians | Belmar, Strive, Epiq Scripts, Casa Pharma Rx, The Pharmacy Hub, Foothills | The terms mention both types, not which is which | The pharmacy depends on the medication, your state and capacity |
| Trim Rx | Third-party clinician networks, not named | Not named | Company blog posts disagree (503A in one, 503B in another) | The terms list branded packages; the footer says it “does not sell, dispense, or ship any branded medications” |
| Trimi | Arora Health; two named physicians | BelieveRx, GreenwichRx | 503A | Texas license #35264 is tied to BelieveRx on the site but to VialsRx in a June 2026 press release |
| Wellmedr | OpenLoop network | Mycelium Pharmacy, Florida | 503A, per the pharmacy | Its FAQ answers “Yes” to “Are these medications FDA approved?”, but its safety page says they “are not FDA-approved” |
Under FDA rules, 503A pharmacies compound against “valid patient-specific prescriptions,” while 503B outsourcing facilities must meet CGMP manufacturing requirements and are inspected by the FDA on a risk-based schedule. Neither produces an FDA-approved drug. Our 503A vs 503B guide explains how to look a pharmacy up.
All six sites show a LegitScript seal or claim certification; we have not independently confirmed any of them. Apart from the Hims letter, we found no FDA warning letter naming these companies.
Refunds and cancellation
The first table covers what happens if you are declined. This one covers what happens after a prescription and how you leave.
| Clinic | After a prescription | Cancellation | Prepaid plans | Guarantee | Arbitration |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Embody | Payments are “FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE”; damaged items are replaced, not refunded | At least 72 hours before the next billing date | Non-refundable “IN WHOLE AND IN PART” | None found | Yes |
| Hims | Refunds are discretionary; none for shipped medication | Turn off auto-renew at least two days before billing | Prices not shown | None found | Yes |
| Pallas Health | “The order is final”; the current cycle is not prorated | Free; takes effect at the end of the billing period | Annual billing not explained | Six-month promise, with conditions | None found |
| Trim Rx | The order proceeds once sent to the pharmacy; refund right if nothing ships within 14 days | By chat or phone | Ask for a refund within 28 days of payment | A blog’s 3-month guarantee is not in the terms | None found |
| Trimi | “Order is final, cannot be canceled” | Turn off renewal before the next billing date | “We don’t pro-rate” | Six-month promise, with conditions | Yes |
| Wellmedr | Full refund before pharmacy work starts; later, unfulfilled portions only | Effective when received | Months not yet started are refundable | A 90-day promise on its get-started page is not in the policy | None found |
When your card is charged. Pallas Health says “Nothing charged at checkout — billed only once a clinician prescribes.” Wellmedr and Trimi charge at checkout, before clinical review, and Embody takes the first month before the medical intake. Hims charges the $39 membership at checkout. Trim Rx does not say; a BBB alert says consumers allege it “fails to wait for medical approval prior to charging and shipping medications.”
Some fine print conflicts. Wellmedr’s terms say “Consultation fees are non-refundable once your intake is submitted,” a rule its refund policy does not include, and a March 2026 Trim Rx press release is stricter than its current terms. Ask which document applies.
Reputation signals
Figures as shown on September 16, 2026. These are third-party signals, and bigger companies collect more complaints.
| Clinic | Trustpilot (out of 5) | BBB | Other records |
|---|---|---|---|
| Embody | 3.8 from 7,793 reviews; 23% one-star | F; 68 complaints, 17 unanswered | BBB start date December 2025 |
| Hims | 2.9 from 9,289 reviews; 29% one-star | Not rated; 4,456 complaints in three years | FDA warning letter (2025); FTC lawsuit with Utah and California (July 2026), pending |
| Pallas Health | No reviews yet | No profile found | A Newswire “Reviews 2026” release is a paid advertorial |
| Trim Rx | 3.6 from 5,537 reviews; 32% one-star | F; “Failure to respond to 772 complaint(s)”; complaint-pattern alert | A Change.org petition, which is not a lawsuit |
| Trimi | Rating withheld “due to a breach of our guidelines”; 62% of 56 reviews one-star | No profile found | REVIEWS.io: 4.6 from 77 reviews |
| Wellmedr | 4.7 from 1,776 reviews; 6% one-star | Not rated; 60 complaints in three years; complaint-pattern alert | No reply to BBB’s June 2026 inquiry |
At the five clinics with reviews, complaints return to the same themes: billing and cancellation, refunds, delivery and hard-to-reach support. The FTC’s case against Hims concerns subscription billing and health-data sharing, and the FTC notes that “The case will be decided by the court.” Read recent one-star reviews for the clinic you are considering.
Which clinic fits which reader
Match your priority to what each company publishes:
- Pay nothing until a clinician prescribes: Pallas Health is the only one of the six that says nothing is charged at checkout.
- A full refund if you are declined: Wellmedr refunds automatically within seven business days, Trimi promises an automatic 100% refund, and Trim Rx’s terms promise a full refund.
- Every price and interval up front: Trimi’s treatment pages show every plan’s price, billed amount and interval, and its homepage repeats the annual and monthly prices. Pallas Health repeats one price table across its site but does not explain annual billing.
- The lowest 12-month total published in full: Embody’s 12-month semaglutide bundle, $828 up front, under a policy that makes payments final except after a provider disqualification.
- A brand-name drug, including a pill: Hims lists Wegovy, Ozempic and Foundayo pills and requires a paid membership. Pallas Health sells four brand-name drugs with no membership fee.
- Something other than an injection: Wellmedr is the only one listing compounded tablets, and Embody sells a compounded semaglutide gum. Neither is FDA-approved.
- Knowing exactly which pharmacy fills your order: Wellmedr’s product pages name one pharmacy for all prescriptions, Mycelium.
- Louisiana or Washington, D.C.: Trimi and Pallas Health list all 50 states and DC.
- Help any day of the week: Trimi’s homepage and Embody’s contact page say their care teams are available 24/7, Hims lists “24/7 messaging with licensed providers,” Wellmedr says its care team is available 7 days a week, and Trim Rx lists phone support seven days a week. Trimi’s phone line is open on weekdays only, and Wellmedr’s Monday to Saturday.
- A long operating record: the BBB lists a 2013 start date for Hims; every other start date we found is 2024 or later.
- No arbitration clause: we found none at Pallas Health, Trim Rx or Wellmedr.
What none of them publish
- A clinic-specific BMI threshold. Trimi says “BMI alone does not determine eligibility.”
- When lab work is required, and what it costs. A Trim Rx blog post says labs are typically not required; Trimi says a provider may request them.
- A clinical check-in schedule. Embody describes a dose review when you run low on medication; the other five give no schedule.
Other gaps are specific to some clinics: Wellmedr’s ongoing price, Pallas Health’s annual-plan billing, a state list at Trim Rx, Wellmedr and Hims, Trim Rx’s pharmacy name, each pharmacy’s 503A or 503B status at Pallas Health and Hims, and a refund rule for declined applicants at Hims. If an answer matters to you, ask in writing before you pay and keep the reply.
How to use this comparison
- Choose compounded or brand-name. They are different products at very different prices.
- Check your state before you enter health information.
- Compare 12-month totals, not headline prices, adding any membership or shipping fee.
- Decide how much to prepay. The lowest totals come from plans paid up front and hard to refund in part.
- Read the refund rule for declined applicants and the cancellation deadline.
- Look up the pharmacy’s license once you have its name and state.
- Save records: a screenshot of the checkout screen showing the recurring amount and interval, and the refund policy on the day you pay.

Frequently asked questions
Which online GLP-1 clinics name their pharmacy?
Wellmedr names Mycelium Pharmacy, Embody names four 503A pharmacies, Trimi names BelieveRx and GreenwichRx, and Pallas Health names six. Hims’s terms name six without saying which fills weight-loss orders. Trim Rx names none.
Which clinics refund you if a clinician declines you?
Wellmedr and Trimi refund automatically, and Trim Rx’s terms promise a full refund. Pallas Health says it charges nothing before a prescription. Embody refunds only the unused portion of the term, and Hims publishes no rule for that case.
Are compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide FDA-approved?
No. The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. Five of these six clinics sell compounded versions; Hims’s weight-loss pages list only brand-name drugs.
Which clinics serve all 50 states?
Trimi and Pallas Health list all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Embody’s promotional FAQ excludes Louisiana. Trim Rx, Wellmedr and Hims publish no state list.
Do any of these clinics take insurance?
None says it bills insurance for these plans. Embody says “HSA/FSA Approved,” Pallas Health says “FSA & HSA eligible with all plans,” and Hims says only its medication fee is FSA/HSA eligible. Trimi and Wellmedr say eligibility depends on your plan.
