Upkeepwell (upkeepwell.com) is an editorial website. We collect as little as possible. This page explains what is collected, by whom, and why.
What we collect
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operation. We do not use these to identify individual readers.
Email. If you email us, we keep the message and your address for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of corrections. We do not add you to any list.
Analytics and advertising. As of the date above, this site does not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If we add an analytics tool, we will update this page and describe what it collects.
Cookies
The site uses only the technical cookies required by our content-management software (for example, to remember a comment form or an editor login). We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination company or its affiliate network may set cookies on their domain to attribute a sign-up to this site, and may pay us a commission. Those cookies are governed by the destination’s privacy policy, not ours. We receive aggregate commission reports, not personal information about you. See our affiliate disclosure, which we publish in accordance with FTC endorsement guidelines.
Health information
We never ask for, and you should never send us, personal health information. This site is not a covered entity under HIPAA and does not provide medical services.
Children
This site is intended for adults in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your choices
You may email hello@upkeepwell.com to ask what information we hold about you (typically nothing beyond your own emails) or to request deletion of correspondence.
California residents
California law (the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) gives residents the right to know what personal information a business collects, to ask for it to be deleted or corrected, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The only personal information we hold is what you send us by email, plus the server logs described above. To make a request, email hello@upkeepwell.com; we will answer within 45 days and will not treat you differently for asking.

Upkeepwell compares online health programs by reading what each company publishes (prices, terms, refund and pharmacy disclosures) and its public records. Every program is checked against the same six criteria, every fact on the page is sourced, and no company pays us for a review or a ranking.
